Our first approach to end human trafficking is to run them out of business by increasing the risk of trafficking and eliminating their profits. The National Crime Agency (NCA), was created in 2013 in hopes of stopping and preventing organized crime, also known as human trafficking, in the UK and throughout the world. The NCA has created specialized units for combating Organised and Economic Crime, the Exploitation of Children, and enforcing Border Policing. The UK is committed to doing all we can to shield children from trafficking and identify the victims of trafficking so that they may receive the best support and protection we can provide. In hopes of accomplishing our goal, we are going to improve our victim identification, care, and protection by working hand in hand with the UK Border Agency, the Crown Prosecution Service, the Serious Organized Crime Agency, the police inside and outside of the UK, health care centers, and charities. We are also going to try to stop trafficking at the start by increasing our international engagement with the source countries, enabling us to learn and understand human trafficking patterns to better be able to prevent trafficking before it starts. Lastly, we will be strictly monitoring the borders and creating profiles stating the risk of victims from particular countries so that the front line staff can focus on
