THE DAY I DECIDED TO CHANGE MY LIFE

The day I decided to change my life was the day I called upon the Lord. I was ready to take my precious life, in my room stretched against the wall with a knife in my hands ready to slit my wrist. I was crying intensely, and as I was trying to a Voice reminded me that I had 3 Boys who needed me , I started to cry and Called on Jesus to please help me. There is a point in life where we all decided to change many can find the way out. Others aren’t so fortunate; they never call upon the only one who can save their soul and life. My life hasn’t been easy there were many times in my life where I know the Lord was there to save me. Countless times I was in Near death Experiences where from My Car catching on Fire as I was driving, to Car Accidents where my Car flipped and thought I was never going to make it. Reality was I was headed down the wrong Road and all the while God was trying to catch my attention. Many times

Up until this point, my life has been particularly uneventful. After my father was stationed at Fort Indian Town Gap, my family moved to the small town of Annville Pennsylvania when I was five. Being that there was not much to do in such a small farm town, I started to join clubs in middle school in order to occupy my time. Through these clubs I completely changed. I transformed into a person who is a leader and is confident in their own abilities.…

I was the prodigal daughter. Moreover, He continued to lead me towards Him. It was like I’d flown back into a cage of sin that had once held me with the false presumption that it would keep me safe, and God was leading me back out of the cage and into the freedom of His love. He lead me to drop out of college during my first year, and I did. Then He lead me to start attending another church, and I did - it was probably the most nerve-wracking of my journey, but I did. At this point, I was able to look back at the past He’d saved me from and see the destruction, hurt, and rubble that He’d pulled me out of. I didn’t want to go back, and now I know that I won’t. He has something bigger than planned for…

So after some serious praying and soul searching, I knew what I had to do. I chose to fight for what I loved so dearly, my children, our home and stabilazation. I went right to work and got three jobs, and got my car back. I was then able to rent a trailer home from a friend, and after one year and three months, my babies came home for good. I eventually went on to meet someone else, and he has been a blessing to my life and to the lives of my children. All of the struggles I encountered were just changes being made by a plan that was already in place. A plan that was made before I was even a thought in my parents mind, Gods plan. I always knew that God existed and not for one minute did I ever doubt that. However, at times I wasn't willing to accept his plan. I had my own in place. That is the struggle though, as a person of flesh and blood, we don't see the bigger, grander picture. These changes that are brought about in so many ways, often refered to as trials or…

As I joined the Army I still didn’t have too much of an idea of what I wanted to do in life. I was just there because it paid the bills at first and gave me a place to live. I recognized that I still had a problem of not knowing what I wanted to do with my life. It was until I was in Iraq and I had to confront the fact that I didn’t want to always put my life in danger to make a living and support my family so I started planning intensely on finding a solution to my problem. As you now in life there are no easy fixes so I ended up going back to Iraq 4 more times before I came up with a solution. The solution I found was early retirement with all benefits go back to school to get my business degree. So now I had to integrate my new perceptive into my life plans. I put all my plans…
