Intro paragraph: Writing essays may seem hard but if you learn the three stages of the prewriting process, your life could get a little easier. The writing process consists of three stages that can be very helpful to have a well written essay. The three stages of the writing process are prewriting, drafting, and revising. With having knowledge about these three stages, you could use them to make your essay more understandable, more detailed, and well structured.
Body paragraph #1: One of the stages of the writing process is prewriting. Prewriting consists or is about generating your ideas, establishing purpose, identifying the audience, and ordering your ideas. During the prewriting stage you should take notes, make lists, and capture your ideas. Another stage of the writing process is drafting. Drafting consists of creating the body paragraph following the prewriting order, and creating the introductory and the concluding paragraphs. During the drafting stage, the writer should read over all the text and choose his ideas, sentences, and paragraphs that best describe the concept. The last prewriting stage is revising. Revising consist of rewriting from the reader’s POV, analyzing and changing paragraph and sentence organization, editing to improve word choice, grammar, usage, and punctuation, and proofreading for typos and surface errors. During this stage the writer has to shift focus and try to see the text as a reader.
Conclusion:
The writing process can be very helpful to know in order to have a better and more descriptive essay. It will improve a lot the way you write and will also get you a better grade for your essay.
