Human Trafficking: Slavery In The 19th Century
Slavery was “abolished” in the 19th century, at least that’s what people say, but unfortunately slavery still exists and it is now called “Human Trafficking.” Currently, this type of slavery happens all around the world, but more specifically in Europe. In the world, 30 million people are victims of human trafficking. Women and children are the most affected victims due to the fact that they are the most vulnerable people, in fact, 98% of the victims are women and children. The real question is… Why?

People were forced to enter the war to defend their families and their country, and if the lost a battle and they were not dead, the contrary team took them as slaves to serve their forces. By the time that WWI was over, the period of the Interwar was devastating. The totalitarianism took place in this period of time as well as nationalism. These two facts made people think that it was alright to control people using violence to make them do whatever they wanted. Yet another reason why human trafficking is a problem at the present time is because WWII. The Second World War was all about slavery and concentration camps, millions of people were killed and taken to places as slaves by the Nazis, which also made people think it is okay to treat people in an inferior way just because you think they are not the same as you, when the truth is, all humans are …show more content…
Slavery is not only having people in your house doing what you want, but it also means forcing somebody to live by the rules you want and not listening to their opinion. After that, the Fall of the USSR was a very relevant success because communism was abolished in mostly all Europe, and the known slavery stopped in some way. Finally, the unipolar world was a huge step for humanity, because of the fact that the ideas back then, helped the world to point out that all humans are the same and that they deserve t be treated with kindness and to give them
