Humorous Wedding Speech: What Makes A Good Guy?
Ladies, after years of painful relationships and men abusing me, my heart and feelings; for a while there I thought good men have gone extinct. I thought men were all out to use us good girls. Until one guy in particular changed my view and taught me that there are good men amongst us they just don't always look the way we expect them to. So I am going to share what I call The Good Guy list with you. To prove good men exist and you don't have to settle for an abusive relationship just because you think you deserve it (which you really don't - trust me) or because you believe there are no guys left for you that are good, kind and loving. So here goes...

A good guy doesn't break you down so he will feel good about himself.
3. A good guy might not have all the money in the world but he will do his best to make you his world and do his best to take care of you.
4. A good guy doesn’t verbally abuse you and put you down. He will give you advise to help make your life easier and better. He will not make you feel awful when you slip up. (Pro tip: show him you are thankful for this because he means well. Guys like fixing problems.)
5. A good guy will make you a priority but will still have his own life. He doesn't need you by his side 24/7 but he sure as hell likes having you there. He makes sure you know this. (Pro tip: Give him space to have his own life and let him do the things he likes doing alone.)
6. He doesn't play on your feelings and make you feel bad for being yourself.
7. Very very importantly sex isn't the only thing he wants and he wants you to know
that.
8. He doesn't always use the grandest methods to prove his feelings sometimes its in the way he looks at you or gives you a hug and the way he smiles.
10. A good guy will teach you life lessons from his experience because he wants what is good for you.
11. He is there when you need him and if he can't be with you physically he will do his best to ensure that you feel he is thinking of you and you can talk to him about anything.
12. If he cares about you - you know it. He doesn't play games with your heart.
13. He knows his weaknesses and doesn't hide behind lies. He shares them with you in his own time and ways.
14. No man is perfect and he knows it.
Ladies there are lots of play boys and down right dickheads out there and many abusers. However there are good guys put there - they might not be Prince Charming on a white horse with millions of dollars in the bank. He might be broke, and plain looking but he will treat you as the princess you are and give his best to take care of you - just the way you are.
And trust me it is better to be alone than with a horrible abusive man. You don't deserve it. You are special and strong you are a woman. You owe it to yourself not to settle for someone who will make you feel bad but rather go for someone who will love all of you just as you are. Someone who will make you their riches. A good man.
