Task 1.2
1- Reflect on my own perspectives: a- My social and cultural perspectives and biases are respecting people that are not like me, because everybody is unique and special in this world. Everyone has his/her own idea and point of view in this life. b- Living in different culture is a big challenge, I identified a shock when I first came to Australia as a migrant because of the different society and different culture. c- My plan to improve my own self and social awareness is to have more information about the foreign

Religion: - The religious, spiritual and philosophical beliefs adopted by people influences the way that individuals, families, and community groups respond to significant life events such as birth, illness, death and dying, as well as their behaviors to maintain health and wellbeing.
Refugees and asylum seekers: - Between 1998 and 2002, over 600,000 refugees and displaced people resettled in Australia. The quota resettled in the Humanitarian Program in 2002-03 was 12,000.
10- The anti-discrimination legislation protects me and others from bulling and harassment. The consequences of breaching this legislation are simply every employee will lose his/her protection in the workplace.
