“If my son was gay, I would throw him in a furnace and burn him,” the shocking words spoken by Northern League councillor, Giovanni De Paoli during a council meeting on health and social security.
De Paoli launched the shocking tirade against a group of parents from Agedo, the national association for the friends parents and relatives of LGBT people, who were attending the meeting.
“It made my blood run cold,” parent Giovanni Vanello told Ansa. “It gave me goosebumps and made me think of Nazi concentration
camps.”
