It created a sound that is still able to appreciate today and still gaining followers actively even if it has not particularly been really popular at one point in time. Since its release there have been multiple other popular rock bands through the years that have been able to take inspiration from this CD and the music they were able to create, such as Pete Townshend from The Who and Steven Tyler from the band Aerosmith, who have stated they would pick this album as a personal favorite. This CD has a significant difference from the popular Beach Boy songs that reach the top of the music charts such as good vibration, which was the only single to come from the album. The CD as a whole is a lot slower and not as loud as it is for the singles that are common from the Beach Boys. It was a very different time for the band when they created this CD compared to the rest of their career. It is interesting that for such an awkward time in these artists lives they were able to create a sound and put it all together in a CD and produce it as a studio…

Purpose is a fantastic album that is Grammy worthy . It ranges from dance songs to " soothe " songs that show his amazing vocals . I didn't like the fact that most of the songs have the same beat which can make the album seem kind of-of annoying . I want to know which song you prefer No Sense or No Pressure ? I did go to his concert when he came to Miami , and it was lit I just wished that he spent more time singing than dancing . I give the album an 8/10 because some of the songs have the same beat . If you want to buy an album that has romance , inspirational songs , and dance songs then this is the album for you…

He has reached fields far beyond anyone thought possible and has touched the hearts and souls of many people we see today. A few examples of artists that wouldn’t be the same without Prince include; D’Angelo, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Lenny Kravitz, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, and Bruno Mars. These are examples of empowered, multi-talented, and nearly as influential artists that got their start from the same man. D’Angelo was five years old when Prince’s ‘I Wanna Be Your Lover’ came out. He told Okayplayer, “When that album came out, it was just huge. He really, literally, was the talk of the town. Everybody was wondering, ‘Who is this guy? Is he a guy? Is it a girl?’ No one really knew who it was. I remember we had the album, and my brothers were just enamored by this guy. They told me, ‘He plays everything, he writes everything, he’s singing everything,’ so I was hooked from then on. I learned how to play every song on that album, note for note, at five years old.” (D’Angelo) Hits such as “Uptown Funk”, “Hey Ya”, “Untitled (How Does It Feel)”, “1 plus 1”, “Blow”, “Like You’ll Never See Me Again”, and so many others might not have existed if it weren’t for Prince’s musical sound inventions. Artist Bruno Mars claims that Prince has been one of his largest influences throughout his lifetime especially in regards to his hits “Locked Out of Heaven” and “Moonshine”. Mars claims that “Moonshine” couldn’t have…

The world of pop culture would never be the same. His voice was harmonious, his moves earth shattering and his actions unequivocally eccentric. The whole world could only watch in astonishment as the “King of Pop” altered lives and established himself as the juggernaut of the music industry. Having been born in 1993, did not give me the opportunity to anxiously stay up until midnight, December 2, 1983 and witness the world premiere of Michael Jackson’s pinnacle, the hit, Thriller. Though my life began as the height of his career began to taper off, his music, actions and appeal is as much a part of my generation as it was then. Michael Jackson is the world's greatest entertainer. His body of work, likeness and story has had a profound influence on popular music today, and will continue to have a resounding impact for generations to come.…
