Ice Hotel in Sweden
I would like to tell you a few words about Sweden Ice Hotel. Have you ever admired the northern lights from the seat of a snowmobile or behind a dog-sled? I suppose no one would have refused this experience. So you can get such unforgettable emotions with the Ice Hotel.
Situated in Jukkasjarvi, in the heart of magical Swedish Lapland, it is surrounded by tranquil forests, pristine snow-covered fells and frozen lake - a true winter wonderland. Moreover, there are only 200 km north of the Arctic Circle. The hotel, including the chairs and beds, is constructed from snow and ice blocks taken from the nearby Torne River. The structure remains below freezing, around −5 °C. The first opening was in 1990, the hotel is built from scratch every year. A new design, new suites, a brand new reception - in fact everything in it is crisp and new. Staying at the ice hotel is a must for the modern adventurer - an experience utterly unlike other hotel stays. Inside, the temperature is never colder than -5 degrees to -8 degrees Celsius, regardless of how cold it may be outside. Unique rooms are decorated with ice art and sculptures. You sleep in a thermal sleeping bag on a special bed of snow and ice, on reindeer skins. In the morning you will get a breakfast which consists of cranberry mulled wine. Unfortunately it’s not recommended to spend in the Ice Hotel more than one night. But don’t worry, there is «warm» hotel nearby, which belongs to the same owners.
You can combine one night in ICEHOTEL with several nights in warm accommodation. They offer double and twin rooms, hotel chalets for 3-5 people, spacious and comfortable, in a Scandinavian design.
Do not forget to visit the Ice Church, golf room, movie theatre, museum of ice figures, moreover, you can even find the Ice Sauna. And the most favorite place of the guests is the Absolute Ice Bar, where they spend a lot of time trying to warm drinking vodka.
I think that the most amazing hotel’s facility is arrangement of

We all know bowling, with modern technology, but have you ever used a lopsided ball to ‘kiss’ jacks? Maybe even heard of fighting roosters with blades attached to their feet. You can see how strange and unusual the sports they played back then were, but to them it was a popular form of entertainment for all. In this Elizabethan Era is when sports just started to become popular with players, and spectators (Alchin "Elizabethan Sports"). Many of Elizabethan era sports were dangerous and violent, one even watching trained bulldogs kill a bull. Three of the main sport categories were blood, team, and individual sports. These inhumane sports were considered ‘blood sports’ due to the blood and gore (Davis Life in Elizabethan days 2007). The spectators…

In this case study Roger Cahill has been acting as the head of mobile division for less than a year. Currently he is struggling as he faces great difficulties adapting BoldFlash to a changing marketplace. The problem really started a year ago when Mr. Jim Harrison appointed the young Roger Cahill to a VP position. Although Roger has led a research project in his previous work, he is only 24 years old and inexperienced to manage a company at VP level. Positions at those levels require years of strategic leadership and management skills. Nevertheless in the last 12 months, the company focused primarily on the redundant production of customized chips without further research or product development in new and upcoming areas like the storage device. This negligence from both product development and marketing is a huge loss to the company as they missed out on the opportunity to launch new product line; therefore missed the opportunity to penetrate the potential market. Now the company has old products not priced competitively and struggling to penetrate the marketshare. Also the four groups within the division, product development, marketing, sales and manufacturing are constantly in conflict and don’t have the reinforcement from the leadership to work as a team. Although Cahill has observed the dysfunctions, he has not implemented any processes or trainings to work as a cross functional team. The company’s profit margins are low and Cahill has to take initiatives to suggest number of changes. With the staff that has low morale and lacking motivation, Cahill has to develop action plan for improvement. He has to define roles and propose organization change design to deliver an outcome necessary to be successful and generate higher profits.…
