and be happy. Foreigners are not picky, they get what they can get to provide for their family. They take the jobs that Americans are too picky to take.
We should give amnesty to illegal immigrants. My reasoning behind this is that immigration is good for the economy. The fact that foreigners are eager to pick crops, clean houses, bus tables and produce allows more of us to afford cheaper food and better services. Immigrant-owned businesses in the U.S. generate more than $775 billion in sales and pay more than $126 billion in payroll each year. Immigrants also show a greater entrepreneurial spirit than native-born Americans. Over the last 15 years, while native-born Americans have become less likely to start a business, immigrants have steadily picked up the slack.
The last reason is that there are too many immigrants in the U.S.
to even make a difference. According to the latest estimates there are about 11 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. It would be exceedingly difficult, or even impossible to deport them all. Indeed, even attempting to do so would require a massive expansion of government civil service. And there would also be terrible economic consequences from removing millions of hard-working residents from the domestic labor pool. The millions of illegal immigrants currently residing in the United States are overwhelmingly law-abiding, tax-paying, and hard-working. Grant them amnesty and let them continue to make America a better place.
People think that immigrants are taking Americans jobs. They think that it will only encourage other immigrants to come here. Some people even say that it is rewarding bad behavior. Even though it might be true that immigrants are bringing some crime to the country, they play a big role in the American economy. There are some statistics that say that a good percentage of illegal immigrants bring drugs to the U.S. Their point is that illegal immigrants are “ruining America”.
There are many reasons why immigrants should be here and why they shouldn’t. We should respect them as people just like we respect our own. They are trying to succeed in life just like we are. They are just as equal as we are. Immigrants are the very people who made America into what it is today. We’re all just fighting
for one thing, to survive.
