Impacts Of Tourism Between Toronto And Niagara Falls
In between Toronto and Niagara Falls, there are having many types of impacts tourism has on those two places, but there have big different tourism activity between Toronto and Niagara Falls, and there have different effect of many types of impacts tourism between those two places. Toronto is the one of Canada's leading tourism destinations. Toronto had region received 9.62 million overnight visitors. This is one of Canada’s larger visitor’s numbers. Toronto has an array of tourist attractions, and a rich cultural life. In Toronto, there have many place of interest to attraction the visitors. The place of interest in Toronto has included Museums, Toronto zoo, aquarium and CN tower. Niagara Falls is the collective name for three waterfalls that …show more content…
First of all, tourism economic. Tourism economic in Toronto, have generating employment. “Toronto CMA has over 19,000 tourism-related businesses employing more than 329,000 people in tourism, hospitality, and related services - about 46% of Ontario tourism-related workers and 17.5% of Canadian tourism-related workers. (Canadian Business Patterns Dec. 2013; Labour Force Survey 2013)”. It had show that how much people get the jobs by tourism. It had build a lot place of interest for visitors and because of the Olympic games will host by Toronto, so the Olympic games will be the catalyst for the development of the major infrastructure projects overall the region. In Toronto, there have Zoos and Aquarium and CN Tower in Toronto downtown to facilitate the visitors come to Toronto to make the Toronto economic to advancement. In Niagara Falls, most of the economic are from the tourism. “More than one-third of all visitors to Niagara Falls stay overnight. 50% of all overnight visitors stay at hotels, motels, or bed and breakfast providers. 76% of all visitor spending in Niagara Falls is generated by overnight travelers” ; “Niagara Falls is a world-famous tourist destination, although it's long been a symbol for the economic demise of the region and has faced decades of its own financial …show more content…
In Toronto downtown, there had build different museums. For example, “48highlanders”, “Allan Gardens Conservatory”, “Archives of Ontario”, “Canada's Sports Hall of Fame”, “ Canada’s Wonderland”, “Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame and Museum”, etc. In Toronto, there have different type of Museums for different type of people to look around. In Niagara Falls, “Points of interest include Queen Victoria Park, adjacent to the Canadian Falls and principal site of the annual Winter Festival of Lights; Skylon Tower and Pavilion, containing a revolving restaurant and an observation deck overlooking the falls; Canada One Factory Outlets which features brand name shopping; and of course, Casino Niagara.
