importance of communication in an organization
Hi my name is Rif Chaaban, I’m graduated from Lebanese International Universtiy with Bachelor degree in Business Management Information System, I was born and raised in Lebanon, I have one sister and two brothers, I live in our apartment with my parents , I have no work experience but I did many internships programs and recently I dealt with a travel agency to do 3 months training before working then I left the office after 2 months from the training period because the employees have low solidarity level . My biggest strength is the sense of responsibility, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, ability to work as a team player or as individual and still be able to represent myself as a person who can be trusted. My Weakness is that I’m timid little bit and I can get hurt very quickly if someone disregards my sincere efforts, or accuse me of being guilty of a mistake which I never did, this does results in a mental stress which ultimately effects my performance. Actually, the question here is "Why should you hire me?" I may not be perfect but I am aiming it. That's why I can assure you that I'll always do my best on everything I do. I need to be hired here for me to prove these. I’m a self-motivated individual and willing to learn anything. I’ll do my best to be an asset of your company. This is what I think is my strength and weakness. I have done some research on salaries in a number of resources and have come to estimate that the salary range for a position like this in this geographic area is between $1000and $1500. Self confidence is not engrained within individuals and can be influenced by a variety of factors. There are so many reasons why people communicate in a work place but the main reason is that, so they can understand each other and they should interact with one another to get the job done as quickly as possible or to get the job done perfectly. E.g. you cleaned the service users’ room during your shift and when the other staff came he cleans the room again. In this case without communication the time you should have done something besides cleaning was wasted because you haven’t even asked your colleague if he finished cleaning or not. One of the reasons for communication is that to maintain the employees morale, for example, a manager speaks to all of his employees in an angry and irritated manner as if they’ve done something that pisses him off which they haven’t known – which will lead to employees feeling less motivated to go to work and to do his job at his best. We communicate to provide clear information, ask questions if you’re not clear with something, handle conflicts with diplomacy, and to offer positive feedbacks to your co-workers, managers, service users. Verbal and non-verbal are the two types of communicating. Verbal communication is when you talk them in a linguistic tone, with pitch and the use of vocabulary. Non-verbal communication is when you communicate by touching each other, physical gestures, body language, behaviour and most of all is eye contact.…

According to Robbins (2003), communication is the process of transferring and subsequently understanding meaning. A study by Updegraff (2003) proved that efficient communication exhibits properties which decrease conflicts, augment efficiency as well as allow firms to operate in a more coherent fashion.…

To begin with, I would like to relate an amusing story - Once, two mice were being chased by a cat. The two mice were - a mother mouse and a child mouse. After, quite an exhaustive chase, mother mouse in a bid to scare the cat away, started to shout like a Dog, "Bow, Bow". Immediately the cat had to give up the chase thinking some dog is chasing her. Then in a very philosophical tone the mother mouse started explaining the child mouse that sometimes learning a second language comes in handy. Though English has come to us as a foreign language in the pre-independence period, in the post-independent India it has emerged as a powerful medium of communication. Today, it stands as an indispensable language.…
