All of this began in the 1800’s when the “Industrial Revolution” took place. When this happened, people started to make goods in factories, rather than making them by hand and because of that, we have the factories today. To run machines in the factories they needed energy and they got that by burning fossil fuels like coal or gasoline. Now that leads to another topic, carbon dioxide or CO2.
