For example, dark chocolate has been known to be good for powerful heart-healthy antioxidants. Peppermints have been known to help with upset stomach, gas and bloating. On the flip side it, does not help with obesity, but it is a billion dollar business. With the huge push to reduce obesity in America, will candy lose its value? Will Americans stop eating candy? No. I believe that it is possible for a company to cater to bother sides. Yes there are some good health benefits of eating some and yes, there are some bad reasons on candy consumption. Not only are there health benefits, part of Halloween is dedicated around the treat candy as well as Christmas, Valentines and Easter. Advocates feel that something has to give between the health batter and making better choices. As Americans, we need to focus more on making better choices and learning moderation in order for the struggle to cease on both sides. There may also be a third party involve, the sugar industry. If the price of candy increases, the sugar lobbyists are happy due to the fact that candy companies need sugar in order to make candy as well as other companies that use sweetner.
