What would you say if someone told you that the reason for knowing what is wrong with you when you are sick, is because of the technology we have nowadays.Well that’s what I’m here to do so let’s get started. In these next few paragraphs I will be explaining some of the many things that have changed in the medical field. Now, don’t let me bore you because these technology changes are the reason for cures that people have found for diseases we never thought we would find a cure for. Radiation therapy treats cancer by using high energy-waves to kill tumor cells. Most of the time the goal is to try and kill the cancer cells without killing too many healthy cells. There are also some risks for radiation therapy, there can be side effects but this is different for everyone. It really just depends on the type of radiation you get, how much you get, what part of your body they are treating and how healthy you are (What to Expect From Radiation Therapy). When you have to get radiation you will work with a doctor who specializes in radiation therapy, they will help you feel more comfortable with it and tell you some of the side effects that might be possible while having this treatment. Well that is just what they did for 3 year old Hudson Borton. He was born without a hand and for his 3rd birthday they gave him a hand to help him steer his brand new bike that he had gotten (3D Printed Hand Helps Kansas Boy Enjoy Birthday Gift).
