Playing DotA

It means Defense Of The Ancients. DotA is a custom scenario for Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. The two teams' ancients are heavily guarded structures at opposing corners of the map. Players use powerful units known as heroes, and are assisted by allied heroes and AI-controlled fighters called "creeps". As in role-playing games, players level up their hero and use gold to buy equipment during the mission.
Defense of the Ancients pits two teams of players against each other: the Sentinel and the Scourge. Players on the Sentinel team are based at the southwest corner of the map, and those on the Scourge team are based at the northeast corner.
Defense of the Ancients allows up to ten players in a five versus five format and an additional two slots for referees or observers, often with an equal number of players on each side.

First, in terms of money, some teenager students spend more money from their allowance in playing DOTA instead of paying tuition and for buying such projects. Furthermore, many of them use it for placing bets on a team whether they will win or not, in other words “Gambling” and

Now, people might be wondering how much eSports players actually make. Billy learned that an average eSports player makes more than an Olympian athlete. Pretend Billy went pro in DOTA. Let’s say his team won Internationals. The DOTA Internationals prize pool is 20 million dollars. If Billy’s team wins, they take home 10 million dollars, split between the five or six of them, depending on if they have a coach. Even if his team placed last, Billy’s team would still take home approximately $100,000. Even the USA, which has the most Olympic medals, only gives athletes $25,000 for a gold medal. Two teams of five players must try to destroy each other’s base. That’s it. Sounds simple right? But when XP, gold, CS, wards, lanes, ganks, Barons, dragons, and countless other variables that no doubt make little or no sense to the uninitiated are thrown into the mix, the game morphs from kindergarten math into math so complicated and complex, that even the world’s best mathematicians would struggle. I was drawn in by the simplistic masquerade, and then found myself enthralled by the intricacies and competitiveness of the game. Every facet I discovered in the game was so interesting and unique that I couldn’t look at games in the same light ever again. If I wasn’t playing League of Legends, I was wishing that I was. There wasn’t a day where I didn’t think of it, I found something I truly loved doing. I was content. And to this very day, I still…
