Describe what you saw. | Visited Ravada( Near Keri) and Gulleri. The group was shown fields, farmers’ homes and conducted some meetings. | | | | | | | Did you meet anyone? If yes, whom did you meet? What about? | Yes, the group met farmers, their wives, AIMS coordinator, Mahila Mandal. The main agenda for the meet was to gauge awareness and interest of farmers in various self-helf groups. | | | | | | | What did you observe about the beneficiaries and/or clients during this visit? What were some questions/ thoughts? | During the visit, I observed that people in Keri are enthusiastic about the self-help groups. Not only this, small functional units like the Mahila Mandal have been so efficient in delivering value to people around them. Women are aware, willing to learn and enthusiastic to share their life experiences. | Describe a significant incident that occurred during this visit. What was the outcome? | During the visit, we met an active Mahila Mandal, who was willing to know about self-help group. After an interaction with them, they converted to a self-help group.
