This different approach is much more welcomed than the simple “You’re wrong”. The author attempts to break down several pro-choice arguments, using a pro-life mindset. Showing the flaws in arguments is a route that few people take. Many people prefer to simply assert their points and provide few sources, simply saying that they are right. He opens his article by showing why, in his opinion, on why abortion is such a large issue. While not the warmest start to an article, a serious topic warrants a serious start. In his opening paragraphs, he gives a few statistics to show the scale and severity of abortion. From there he moves on to say what his stance on abortion is and what the purpose of the article is. He covers topics from women’s right to their bodies to whether a fetus is a human being or not. He keeps his reasoning against these arguments brief, keeping it at about a paragraph. Many times, he will support his logic with links to different articles and studies. However, that is not always the case. There are times where he will depend on his own logic to discount a pro-choice argument, with varying levels of effectiveness.
