Is There Life on Other Planets?
Is There Life On Other Planets?

This creature was created a long time ago before we can even imagine, and it was thought to be a myth, but in the last few years they have become very popular, with movies, books and even scientists obsessing over them, these creatures are…..aliens.
Now the idea of aliens has stirred up all sorts of different emotions, like in some religious views aliens are demons, and are not really accepted, some people are worried that earth could end due to aliens, some are excited and are intrigued by this idea, while others just don’t believe in the concept of there being life on any other planet except earth.
Sightings:
The idea of aliens was already around about 624 to 546 years B.C.; they were discovered by the Greeks who referred to them as “humanoids on the moon”. There have been many alien sightings over the years people like Alexander the great, Edmund Halley (discoverer of Halley’s Comet), Christopher Columbus have all supposedly spotted aliens in their lives at some point or another, but this does not prove that aliens actually exist!
Appearance:
People choose to describe aliens in all sorts of different ways, but the typical description would be, big black slanted eyes, a large egg like head and a very skinny body green in colour, but as I said there are other ideas of how aliens might look.
Proof:
Now scientists don’t just go out and tell the world that there are such things as aliens, they have to do their research first. Now there is not a lot of proof for the idea of aliens except for a few sightings, which could be unreliable. The best lead they have so far is Mars. Scientists have studied Mars for a while and have to come to a conclusion that Mars looks like it used to be able to support life, though they have not spotted any evidence of life yet.
Area 51:
In Nevada at Groom Lake, Area 51 is situated. The primary use of this building is for the military to work on aircrafts and weaponry. In the 80’s surrounding

    Fdr Vs Hoover Essay

Hoover proved to be less proactive than Roosevelt in dealing with the effects of the Great Depression as he was in denial: “there was no crisis, he insisted. All that was needed … was to let the economy cure itself” (pg. 1106). Perhaps he was just wishing that the worse would pass, but regardless he realized that sitting idly would not change anything, and thus he had no choice but to take action. Hoover attempted to cheer up the public by convincing them that the worst had passed, but his optimism wasn’t sincere and the nation was able to see that. Unlike Roosevelt, he wasn’t a natural people-person and his attempts at connecting with the nation on a personal level resulted in him uttering discouraging phrases such as “No one has yet starved” (pg. 1108). The public was naturally not pleased with his inability to show empathy, and thus they mocked him by creating “Hoovervilles” and “Hoover blankets”. Throughout this whole fiasco, Hoover was more concerned with the state of the government rather than the state of the people, and thus he refused to offer “direct support to the poor” out of the fear that it would give rise to socialism (pg. 1108). He cleverly tried to mask these motives by trying to convince the public of the importance of…

Pros And Cons Of Area 51

Head of NASA, Charles Bolden states that extra-terrestrial life must exist, but there is none hidden in Area 51. Area 51 is a site in the Nevada desert of America that tests aircraft and weapon technology such as the U-2 spy plane. Countless conspiracy theories have derived from Area 51 due to the secretiveness of the US government. An example of which is the apparent hiding of extra-terrestrial bodies recovered from the supposed UFO crash in Roswell, 1947. Due to a lack of evidence and excessive amount of conspiracies, it is unreasonable to believe that Area 51 is housing extra-terrestrials (The Telegraph, 2015). Society should be against the belief of Area 51 housing aliens because it is based on conspiracy theories and the American government…

I moved overseas and over the past five years I have been working in an individualistic culture driven by autonomous leadership, low power distance and encouragement of more open discussions to solve problems.…

Imagine, one afternoon you are in your backyard enjoying the sun when suddenly you look up at the sky and there is a huge disk-like shaped object floating above your whole town. For centuries, scientists, ecologists, politicians, and common people around the world have discussed the subject of the unidentified flying objects (UFO). It seems paradoxical, but the main question of their discussion concerns existence or non-existence of the UFO itself. The most popular and appealing notion about the UFO is the extraterrestrial hypothesis. The hypothesis implies that there are intelligent beings from other planets visiting Earth, aliens. Although some people…

In the final analysis, more people are now knowledgeable and educated, especially in the science field. Besides, information can be available and found easily. We tend to believe matters that can be explicated scientifically. With that being said, when science can explain the UFO sightings evidences and secret of what was to be UFO site, reveal, theorists might indeed need more compelling evidences. Otherwise, without credible proofs, the government UFO cover-up conspiracy might soon be…
