Though I am not the Valedictorian of my class, and do not wish to be, I am a fierce worker and take AP classes for the ideas brought forth that help me look at the world through many different perspectives. My English class and open-minded teacher cultivates my thirst for words, both expanding my intake and inspiring the fruits of my writing career, which began when I had many less years than fingers on both hands. AP History has also impacted how I deal with the world, spurring my hunger for equality and encouraging me to dive into the unique stories of the millions of fellow human beings who have lived and died throughout the centuries. Though not a core class, many of my most impactful experiences happened due to my involvement in Marching Band. This family of people from countless backgrounds has taught me the importance of working with others and has given me a strong work ethic and a pride in what I do.
In a matter of years, and the decades that follow, I plan to not only have a job as an average, but skillful welder, wherever that may take me, but also to eventually have my own business that allows me to enjoy what I do everyday. I will sell sculptures and other forms of artistic expression, using what I have and will learn of welding to further my creative passion. With the help of my teachers and plenty of hard work, I should be more than prepared to meet my goals once I graduate from high
