John Hope Bryant Character Analysis

John Hope Bryant, an American entrepreneur, stated “leadership is love in operation.” A government official cannot be considered a leader if they aren’t readily willing to defend their nation. Because citizens aren’t inclined to rebel, the workforce doesn’t suffer from a negative environment, and a positive country inspires rather than discourages, a society is more effective when its population loves its leader . If societies aren’t afraid of their ruler, but feel admiration, the mere thought of rebelling would be non-existent. For example, in America during the late 1700’s, a man by the name of George Washington was involved in the Battle of Princeton. One of Washington’s bold actions at the battle consisted of making himself an easy target
that could be shot down at any moment; however, he defeated the British while gaining the admiration of his fellow Americans for being noble. Eventually, Washington was elected the first president of the United States. Americans at this time supported the heroic leader and would never imagine revolting against him because they felt that he represented their country well and that he was willing to sacrifice himself for his country, which caused him to the nation’s trust. Furthermore, societies that support their leader are more effective because there is never a worry that their authority figure is deceitful. Likewise, negativity in the workplace can be ruinous in regards to productivity.
It’s simple: a town that criticizes and lacks a leader that sparks eagerness among the people will achieve less over an extended amount of time. For instance, the dreaded dictator and root cause for the massacre of innocent people, Adolf Hitler, forced the Jewish people into concentration camps where many would end up working. While this feared leader may have benefitted at the beginning, when focused on long-term success, the Jews would often commit acts of silent rebellion soon after arrival , an example being to work at a turtle-like pace, which disproves that feared leaders have a more productive society. In addition, a positive government and leader inspires societies. It is human nature to take in the environment around and then reflect that within an attitude. To illustrate, when the head of a society is negative and constantly focusing on what the country is doing incorrectly, rather than remaining positive and focusing on current and potential improvements, the negativity will become transparent within the society. If a society is only keen on mistakes made instead of how to better themselves, the nation will be less efficient, and therefore less effective
economically. To conclude, a society that feels hatred for their leader is less productive than one that admires because rebellious citizens would be nonexistent, productivity would decline, and negative governments discourage their people. In order to keep a stable society over a long period of time, leaders must be loved.
