Anyone could compare their lives to Jonas, but not all. In conclusion, everyone can see color it’s normal for us but not for him. Jonas’ first color he sees is red, compared us on earth we understand all colors. In the novel Jonas and Asher were tossing an apple back and forth and Jonas noticed the apple was changing, “Does anything thing seem strange to you? About the apple?” (The giver 31). We would want to be in onas’s place, because it would be something special to us.
Jonas doesn’t want to be the same as everyone else. He doesn’t
want to be the same as everyone else, because, furthermore he wouldn’t have got his favorite memory of snow. In the novel The Giver gives Jonas a memory of snow, “The ground was thick with the furry snow, but he sat slightly above it on a hard, flat object.” (The Giver 103). We wouldn't want to be in Jonas place because we couldn't express our feelings.
It's important to us because now we know not to judge people by the way look or by the way they live their life, everyone is different; we’re not all suppose to be the same, because everyone has something special about themselves . Everyone will always be and has always been different in the past, present, and future.
