It is a day like any other day. The glowing warmth of the sun is hidden behind fluffy grey clouds, the warmth is barley touching the ground. Children are running from place to place, chasing after one another. I could almost say, that there's nothing special today, but that would be lie. Today is the day of my sisters wedding! The excitement and anticipation has been drenching our small village for weeks. The chance to celebrate anything is very seldom, and a wedding, a wedding is the greatest celebration of all! It's beautiful; there's sweet smelling flowers from the meadows surrounding the church. We're a poor family in a poor village, but today we won't let anything stop us, today is a happy day. Looking up at the church, I've never realised …show more content…
Oh my! She looks beautiful! Her long, golden-blonde hair is plaited to the side, and her bright blue eyes are glistening as she looks ahead at her soon-to-be husband, completely forgetting that we are here. She's on my papas arm, he looks so nervous, his free hand rests on her hand, which is already placed on his other arm, and he squeezes. I've never seen my papa look nervous before, he is usually so bold, so …show more content…
This is great!" he smiles re-assuring to mama and mama smiles back. Christopher looks at me with a glee smile on his face "With all of the terrors of today, I am afraid for my dear Marie's safety here, and, perhaps with the consent of her parents to marry just a little under a year of age, I am most eager for her to become my wife sooner! I long for my dear little Marie to be safe and sound. I hope none of you are offended by my boldness in this request?" I go to speak, but I'm interrupted in my thoughts by my papa "My dear boy, I would of been offended if you hadn't! You have our consent doesn't he my love? Yes of course you do! When do you plan for this wedding to take place? Come let us walk and talk to plan out details!" With the sweetest grin on his face, he says "yes sir!", he comes to me, looks deep into my eyes - giving me goose bumps, his large masculine hand takes mine, and oh my, he kisses it! His soft perfectly shaped lips touched my hands! He then bows to my mama on the way out and my papa smiles at both of us. A few moments after they've left, my mama squeals "Oh darling! Such good news, I did not believe anything good would come of this day! But here, my other daughter will be taken away somewhere safe! Oh I am

I was laying in bed just thinking about our conversation today. Do I really want to marry Val? I rolled over and looked at my phone. It was 3am. I slid out of bed and grabbed my phone off the night stand. I was half way out the door when I heard Val say," babe where are you going?" "Restroom. Go back to sleep," I responded. I closed the door behind me and walked across the hall to the bathroom. I closed and locked the door. I called Lindsay, hoping that she would tell me what to do. She's always been the mom of the group. "Hello," she said in a groggy voice. "Hey Linds can we talk?" I asked. "No! What do you have to talk about that couldn't wait until the morning?" She said obviously aggravated. I forgot Lindsay is not a morning person. "But…
