Jugglr Challenges
Facebook, Alibaba, Airbnb, and Uber are some of the most valuable platforms of the recent years. But before achieving this success, they encountered many challenges in the beginning. One of the biggest challenges was to reach to critical mass. Marketplaces in their first stage, usually have difficulties with user acquisition. The moment they hit some scale points in regarding total user-base, suddenly, their sites go viral and start getting lots of users. Many startups die within a short period because they could not hit the critical mass that is crucial to sparking a transaction. Until a marketplace reaches a critical mass, participants face two situations:
1- Customers do not find what they are looking for and as a result, they never return.
2- Providers do not see adequate

For Jugglr to hit a critical mass, three essential components need to be achieved. First, plugging into the platform must be easy. Based on some online reviews, it was difficult for some users to sign up or pass the first step due to technical issues. Even though the company has updated its application, some users declared their disappointment with the app and their intentions to delete it. It is a major issue Jugglr must solve. If users are not able to pass the door, how are they going to explore the content and promote it to other? Second, Jugglr needs to attract participants to try and join the application by adopting effective promotion methods. Mobile application ad click-through rates are gaining popularity. According to a 2016 report, CTR ads went up 36% (Perro, J, 2017). Jugglr might consider placing its ads on Facebook and Instagram because of their broad user base and ability to segment.
