“I think that the hard part is over. Now it is time for us to play.”- Kerri Walsh
When it comes to games Kerri Walsh truly puts her heart into it. One of the games that she was in, she dislocated her right shoulder, which is her dominant arm/shoulder. This was very very hard on her because she has 3 kids and volleyball is her job and if she can’t play them she will not make a profit. A couple …show more content…
months after that incident she wanted to try volleyball again but… with her left arm. The game that she entered was a very big game for her because that was the game for the Olympics. This was a very tough on her because she had to underhand serve, she had to hit with her left, and she had to pass. Passing was probably the most hard on her. This was a very close game but the other team pulled off the game of 2 points ahead. This will not be the year for Kerri going to the Olympics but hopefully the next olympics she will make it in.
“All my life I dreamed in gold.”
Kerri Walsh works very hard anytime she is put on a sand volleyball court.
Kerri has won 3 gold medals in a row at the Olympics! I think this proves how hard she works in a game. Kerri Walsh won all three with Misty May Treanor. They were great partners for the Olympics! They won all three of their olympic gold medals, they won their first one in Athens 2004, they won their second one in beijing 2008, and they won their last in London 2012. Kerri Walsh will probably not be playing in the Olympics this year because of her shoulder.
If She Wins
You have to win in order to win money right? Well Kerri Walsh makes a living off of winning, which, if you lose you don’t get any money and she has 3 kids at home to feed and take care of. Kerri Walsh on average of winning gets paid 2,000,000. But that's only if she wins and she is pretty good at getting that job
done.
Work, Fight, Succeed
For you to succeed you will always have to work for it. Now Kerri practices every day for sand volleyball so she can succeed and earn money for her family. Most days she practices 8 hours a day.
