Khalia Strengths And Weaknesses
Khalia’s family is very small for it only consist of her at first and her child once she is able to get him back. The biggest strength manifested by Khalia is her desire for change so that she can take her life back. From what she tells Amir, one can infer that she must have had a tough childhood, but it is evident that she doesn’t want to let that define her future. She is able to go recognize that she has a problem, allowing her to recuperate and try to get her baby back so that she can be the mother that she has not been to her son. Another strength that I see in Khalia is the support she received from people around her and how she uses that to her advantage. She has her counselor, Gussie Chestnut, her sponsor and her friends who have

Her strengths are being able to get along with easy, working hard, and being a very mature person. Her largest strength is being mature about everything. When Mai and her family have to leave Vietnam because the government is going to arrest her Grandmother, she is very mature about it because she does what her father tells her to do without whining. Her second greatest strength is being able to get along with people well. She shows this strength very well on the boat when she becomes good friends with several of the desperate refugees. Her last strength is working hard. The only time she shows this is when she is working in the rice paddies and in her school. Even though she doesn't show this strength very much, it is still one of her good strengths.…

The first day I met Rakim and Kaif was in the Pre-Kindergarten, from that day I have known the two brothers for fourteen years. Growing up in the same neighborhood as the two brothers, they were almost the same in terms of what they enjoyed doing. At a young age Rakim and Kaif were all about riding their bikes, getting in trouble, and most importantly; having fun. As I grew older with them, Rakim and Kaif began to change and take shape into their very different but unique personalities. Though they have some very similar interests, their differences greatly outweigh their similarities, making them distinct to who they are.…

Another strength value is using my sense of sensibility when addressing problems in the community; this is according to my ethical lens results. I am in the middle on these results, I believe that you must use sensibility but also need to be rational. If I was to favor one over the other it would have to be rationality. One strength attribute that I appreciate a whole lot is the tradition strength. I think this strength can go a long way of helping myself and others out, being able to learn from others that have been in my position and analyzing their decisions benefits me. Some may overlook this attribute; I on the other hand value this trait and have been taught this attribute from an early age and then again in the…

The strength the surprised me the most was Harmony. StrengthsQuest says, "In your view there is little to be gained from conflict and friction, so you seek to hold them to a minimum" (StengthsQuest, 2000). After reading a more in depth definition of Harmony, I know how I can utilize this strength. In my career, there are many peers and employees who thrive on conflict. By using this strength, I can sit down with both individuals who have a conflict and guide them towards resolution by breaking down what goal we need to work towards and what it takes for us to get…
