He created it to help students with learning music. It is a basic method for many children and very easy. This method is used with percussion instruments, speech, and movement. It is said this method is used by two voices, Alto and Soprano. The percussion instruments that can be used are cymbals, triangles, wood blocks, jingle clogs, and sometimes a single-barred instrument. The benefit of this method is to help students come up with their own rhythm and beats. Helping them have a more creative thought to music. It helps them come up with their own type of music by making it with their own rhythm, and listening to what is in their hearts, or what is rolling through their mind then writing it down in paper later. Most people can read music but if you use this method it can help you and finish a lot faster.
Kodály
The second method was created by Hungarian composer Zoltán Kodály, it is called The Kodály Method. This method is very well known and it used a lot more than Orff. Plenty of people use this method. It doesn’t depend on the type of kid that wants to learn percussion, it does not depend on if the student has rhythm. It really depends on the passion of it and if they can actually put the effort into the instrument. Orff can benefit many children. They can start off learning a percussion instrument and then going to a wind instrument. Percussion involves learning how to do rhythms, every instrument even singing involves rhythm. They say that if one can learn percussion and they know very well of it than it can be easier for him or her to write music. They say that percussion gives students more creativity in their lives, creativity in their
