Lardo Monologue
: Once I realized that Lardo was gone I was thinking of places I could find him. I thought of the bakery so I rode my bike there. I got there and the door was wide open, and the whole thing was torn apart flour bags slit open, plates broken on the floor, every drawer open, and even the seat cushions were slit open and the stuffing was torn out. Then i heard a noise from grandma’s apartment. I got up the stairs, and a dark shadow was standing in the middle of the room with a baseball bat and swung at me. I dropped to my knees and begged them to not hurt me. It turned out to just be Charlie. He was walking by the bakery and saw that the door was wide open, he went to shut it and saw what had happened, so he went upstairs to see if he could catch …show more content…
I took them with me. Then Charlie and I went to go tell the sheriff. I took charlie to my house, and after we ate we went up to my room to look for clues. We found an earring that I knew wasn’t mine. Charlie Left because he had to get some groceries. He came back and caught me crying, but I had been mean to him so I told him that I was sorry. He was looking for his list but didn’t find it. I found it and read the list. The list said 1 box bandaids, 1 can vegetable shortening, 1bag of sand, and 1 dozen cans of sardines. Alice rode her bike up to the store and Charlie was just coming out. I told him that all the clues fit, Miss Gurke was the catnapper. The sand for the litter box, Bandaids for the scratches, shortening for the pie, and sardines for Lardo. Also I told Charlie that Gurke stole the key at the funeral. I saw her do it. Aunt Polly was wearing it, then Gurke went up to see her and I saw her yank he hand back really fast. Next thing you know, poof the key was gone. We went to Gurke’s house to spy on her. Stunned the group walked over to the person and just stood in a circle around the person then they all started to smell a really rotten and dead sort of odor emanating from the lifeless body. The dead body got up out of surprise and charged at Me. It fell on top of him and just started biting him. It ripped him apart like an animal and they just stood there stunned as they watched in horror.
