During today’s day in age students rely solely on the internet for research and papers as if books and a pen and paper don’t exist. Students are becoming increasingly lazy and continue to practice good procrastination skills which end up hurting them in the long run. “The culture within which the millennial generation has learned cognitive skills may be partly to blame for these problems. “ We (students/ Millennials) exist in a noisy, media-driven world, these conditions may lead to issues with filtering what is valid and important to our task and what is there to distract us. Constant socializing in a connected world leads to persistent distractions from any assigned task (Essinger 2006). Time and time again students in this generation are recorded on making these poor time management decisions which thus prove how media is affecting each millennial differently. But research is so hard to conduct when dealing with humans because everyone is going to react slightly differently.
