Learning Style Test
Have you ever taken a leader, learning style, or a personality test? Well I think you should, because it will help you learn more about yourself. You should probably find out about these tests because they really helped me. Let me tell you how.

My personality test was really cool and awesome. My personality came up as a debater. I love to prove people wrong on things. I also love being in charge, because it just gives me a sense of pride. I am a really controlling person when I work in a group or just in general. The personality test is a great thing.

The learning style test showed me how I learn. I am a really hands on and visual learner. I also just figure everything out on my own. The learning style tests was a great thing for me because

The Minie ball greatly influenced the Civil War, causing many people to die, and changes in many other areas. Like all the wars before it, during the Civil War many large technological breakthroughs occurred. One of the biggest, and most influential changes for personal weapons was the evolution from the smoothbore muskets to rifles, and even more so, the Minie ball that allowed the rifling to realistically be used in a battle situation. The bullets also had another plus: causing huge damage to anyone they hit. Blood and screams were heard all around the battlefield from the Minie ball tearing through flesh and shattering bone.…

Learning style? Why would one need to know a learning style? There is a way for you to find out what type of learning style you have. The VARK learning style assessment tool, developed by Neil Fleming, is an assessment that can be taken to discover ones learning style. There are several learning styles; kinesthetic style; those who learn from hands on experience, auditory learners; a learning style of memorization by retaining what is heard (Blasen, n.d., para.1), visual learners; individuals who retain best through written language such as reading and writing ("VARK Questionnaire," 2011, para. 1), and last multimodal study strategy; a learning strategy of…

I must say that I do agree with the results of the test, but there are some aspects of it that I feel to be untrue. In general, I have to always stay busy and involved with various activities. I like being around people, leading, teaching and stimulating others into positive performances. I also like to act on things as opposed to just talking about it. Other people view me as having an outgoing personality. I also am able to relate to and have friends from all walks of life. On the other hand, I am one who does have to think things through, plan ahead, and am very structured (with things in order). I think that I am more a Sensing personality than a Intuitive one. I am more practical and a more hands on individual. Meaning, I often use and trust my experience before words and symbols. (Humanetrics.com, 1998-2011)…

When I was in the military taking this test was required once I reached senior levels. It was not used by anyone for evaluation or suitability purposes, but instead it was used for individual self-assessment. Each time I take the test my reaction is always the same. I am skeptical in the beginning, and a believer in the end. It is amazing how the results capture my own opinion about my personality. The only part I did not feel was accurate (in the beginning) was its definition of “how others see you.” To validate my feeling, I provided two different interpretations of “how others see you” to a co-worker. One interpretation was from the test, the other was my own interpretation. To my surprise, my co-worker said that he viewed my personality was more in line with the findings from the test. For me, this further validated the legitimacy of the…

Very rarely so we take stock in our own well-being in the workplace and even less time is spent on determining if our personalities fit within the expected model of behavior that is expected at the organization for which we are part of. Occasionally it is good to sit back and look at oneself and determine what your personality traits are and if they coincide with your goals. According to Wan Ismail and Awadh (2011), personality can be a determining factor in one’s job performance. Further research has shown that personality differentiates one person from another (Beer & Brooks, 2011) and that personality traits remain steady and stable through ones work life (Myers, 1998). Being able to understand your own personality traits is important to unlocking your own job satisfaction needs and leadership and management abilities.…

Before taking the Learning style Quiz I would have told you that I was a visual learner. I am better with written instructions more than I am with verbal. I love when I receive handouts and diagrams. After taking this quiz I have learned that I am more of a kinesthetic learner. I always have to be hands on and doing something. What I mean by this is when I am studying I am either moving in my chair or I am using my finger as a reading guide. I always thought that it was just my ADHD that made me do this but now I have learned that it is a way of learning.…

Upon completion of the learning style inventory exercises, I gained awareness of the learning styles that will continue to be discussed throughout the duration of this course. Being introduced to the different types of learning styles are of vital importance to me as a student, as it helps me discover ways in which I learn. The purpose of this exercise is to help us identify ourselves in accordance to when we feel successful at learning, and by that, what techniques we use and how we apply them to learn to the best of our ability. We were instructed to fill out various interrelated ideas on how people learn, and based on our personal opinions; rate them on a scale of one through four, with four being the strongest answer. We then would total up our answers, in each of the following categories: Concrete Experience (Feeling), Reflective Observation (Watching), Abstract Conceptualization (Thinking), and Active Experimentation (Doing) and represent our total numbers with drawing four connecting lines to create a formation of a “kite.” In every aspect of the grid within the learning style graph, the illustration of my ‘kite’ hit all the designation points to create a perfect four-sided kite. The numbers in which my lines connected to were all almost, or hit right at the peak of each side of the grid. This essentially means that for each learning style criteria, my totals scored high and were ranked a vast majority of fours.…

The purpose of taking the personality test is to get a raw idea of how our behaviours and everyday actions tell us about our personality. I found my personality spectrum to be true of whom I am as an individual person. I understand psychology as a self-portrait of us and this allowed me to be exposed and confirmed my personality. I am a prodigious thinker because I love to solve problems while exploring new ideas and potentials. When I look back as a child I was very analytical and always kept to myself on figuring problems. This can establish well with math, science, or psychology in a field that I would never be bored of. I realize that when I think, I space out and find truth and this will always apply in my everyday tasks. I like to hear questions given time to figure out in my manner of learning.…
