The fitness pyramid organizes each type of exercise into special categories. Walking, biking, playing, and working should be done everyday. Basketball, tennis, hiking, swimming, and step aerobics are meant to be done 3-5 times per week while stretching, training sets, and repetitions and other muscle and flexibility workouts should be done 2-3 times a week. Inactivity should be narrowed down to only being done sparingly.
