Let The Right One In a film that uses cinematography and sound very well to represent violence and how much of an impact this has on the viewers. The way the film locates the sources of the violence and how it is shown in the film, as well as how the violence is demonstrated how it is done to show violence in the film. Also the way cinematography and sound is used to justify the violence that is shown throughout the film.
How violence is presented in Let The Right One In is mostly killing of victims when a person is killed it is at times graphic when Oskar is getting bullied by the three boys after class he is shown in a close up where you can see his face expressions which show him in pain and wants them to stop and then you can see …show more content…
Violence not to clearly seen in Let The Right One In due to the shots being from a long shot when either Eli or Hakan kill a victim it is shown but it is either obscured or not visible until a close up is shown. Where blood is shown is either on a persons clothing from killing the victim or from the blood being dripped into a jug. When Hakan is shown in the hospital he is shown with the acid on the side of his face it shown very graphic due to the being able to see half of his face been fully burnt of where clear view of his jaw can be seen from the outside. When Oskar stands up to the bullies when they are at there field trip he is shown with a stick he hits the main bully across the ear he is shown bleeding from the ear the strike from the stick is shown from a extreme long shot and then is shown at close up of where exactly he is bleeding
