Libroffee plans to be located in a commercial building specifically in the University Mall near De La Salle University, Malate, Manila. Ideas will also be gathered from critics and comments. This will improve Libroffee’s service and products thus serving the customers better.

Location

As we will be located inside the mall, we have nothing to worry about the parking because the mall will be responsible for that. Also, it will be easy for us to get our supplies from the supplier because even though we are inside the mall, we could do the getting of supplies before the mall or store opens as it is part of the backstage operations. For the transportation, public vehicles like jeepneys and cabs pass the University Mall so it is accessible for customers. Also, it is near the LRT track allowing commuters of the train to access the location.

We need not to worry about construction because we will be getting a commercial space for rent. But we will have to hire an interior designer or an architect for the store design and other facilities.

Store hours of Libroffee will be from 7 am – 12 mn.

Libroffee will look like an ordinary coffee shop. The space required would be around 100 sq.

For us general managers of the business, in the first few months of operations we can help the business by doing the employees’ jobs also. As a startup business, at first we won’t be having a lot of employees because that would likely to incur expense for

The original concept of owning many of the large stand-alone cafes with 250-500 PC terminals at each café was not working well. elc undertook a dramatic restructuring of the company by downsizing the cafes. Many of the large, original stand-alone elc stores will be run by franchisees. These franchised stores will become smaller stores which have 20 to 30 PCs terminals at each cafe and with no staff required except for regular maintenance. Less involvement with store operations allows elc to concentrate on activities of their core competence and outsource all the non-core activities. Their core competence was to continue building their ‘easy’ brand and applying the yield management model to the Internet café business. Their business goal was to open 4 new franchises per week over the next 3 years. In order to achieve the goal of growing their franchised Internet cafes business, an efficient, flexible and cost-effective logistics system is what they need for the provision of equipment to the franchisee. Since logistics is one of the non-core activities that is perceived as a bottleneck for scalability, the present logistics system of elc will be reviewed and findings of whether to outsource the logistics system will be presented to the management team.…

Moreover this will mean that the facilities for the customers will be less so then the customer will not like the business and may turn their back towards them.…
