The Position Description is: an individual applying as a Life Action Ministry Security Officer must submit at least three non-family, professional character references proving a minimum of at least three years law enforcement or military experience as well as a letter of recommendation from their pastor. Combined, these must provide proof of a calm, disciplined, and experienced individual of high moral character. The duties of Life Action security officers are to maintain a friendly and professional interaction and protection of all staff or visitors while maintaining good relations with community and law enforcement representatives.
Once an applicant is accepted, they receive a mixed training model using a smart phone and laptop using ONE Note software to provide a security overview, maps, building schematics, regulations, regularly scheduled online exams, daily threat assessments, pictorial staff directory, external training links, and personnel assessments.
