Lilo And Stitch Essay
Social workers are people who help out individuals, families, or communities and provide them with assistance to improve their lives. Social workers provide counseling services and health services to be able to cope with their patient’s needs. We see social workers in many professions such as school, hospitals, child welfare, and community corporations. One example that I saw a social worker doing his job is in the movie of “Lilo and Stitch”. The character in the movie is a social worker who goes and check the conditions of the sisters’ house and see if there ok living on their own. Here we see an example of what social workers do in everyday situations.
“Lilo and Stitch” is about a young girl name Lilo who lives with her sister and seems to be lonely as she is an outcast in her class. She doesn’t seem get along with anybody and the kids in her class

Nani left Lilo by herself which didn’t go so well, Mr. Bubbles gave her 3 days to change his mind. She also lost her job making it even worse for them, but to top it off the situation between Stitch and the aliens cause the house to be blown. Mr. Bubbles takes away Lilo because of the harmful environment. After all the negative outcomes, it finally gets to a more positive vibe. Stitch gets to stay on Earth as the leader gives him permission to. Stitch learns how to care for someone and is able to be friends with Lilo. Mr. Bubbles is convinced that Nani is best suited on taking care of Lilo.
Before I watched this movie I didn’t think much of it since the last time I saw this movie I was still a child. After watching this movie again and being more grown I fully understand the movie now. I finally know what Mr. Bubbles roll in the movie was and how him being a Social Worker makes sense to what his role in the movie was. It’s nice to see how they portrayed the role of a Social Worker in the movie, while also giving a theme of friendship and
