Living a healthy lifestyle is certainly not easy. A healthy lifestyle means maintaining a balanced and nutritious diet as well as engaging in sports or other fitness related activities in order to keep one in shape and free from sickness and disease. There are many popular diets in the market today, but most of them are unhealthy and sometimes even harmful to our health. In order to to have a healthy lifestyle,we should know on how to eat a healthy food by eating a plenty of the right carbohydrates, eat larger meals early in the day and the most important is to not skip our breakfast.

We should eat plenty of right carbohydrates as it is the main source of energy. We should also be alert on the type of food that contain carbohydrates so that it easily digest. We can eat whole grain flour, hearty vegetables, oats and unprocessed grains like brown rice in order to have a slow digestion. These kinds of food not only contain complex carbohydrates which are slowly digested by the body, but are usually high in vitamins and other nutrients that are beneficial to the body.It is also contains high fibre that can keep our digestive system run smoothly.

We should also practice eating larger meals early in the day.In fact, our metabolism slows down towards the end of the day and become less efficient at digesting foods. Therefore,we must try to eat a medium-sized meal for breakfast,a large meal for lunch, and a small meal for dinner.Better yet,eat four to six small meals over the of the day will also keep our body full for the whole day without dumping a large amount of food into our stomach which our body may find it hard to digest.

Morever,we must avoid skipping breakfast. Most of us do so because we don’t feel we need to eat breakfast or we just don’t feel hungry the first thing in the morning. If we skip breakfast, our body will store up most of the energy that we get from food. This will cause us to be tired during the day when our body isn’t using the food we ate,but the extra energy
