Radio advertisement at this time is not feasible as part of the experience is visual, it is emotionally tied but what you are seeing. Internet options such as offering discounts through social sites such as Living Social will create awareness and create demand as we will make offers that are irresistible to those that would want to try us but are a little be concerned about the cost. Once they purchase the discount coupon we will limit how much time is available for them to use so we can create urgency. Premiums in which we will offer price reductions to venue managers so that they can promote our business for us will also be used. With premiums hotel managers will be able to pass the savings to select guests as a reward or to compensate for a service.

A hotel’s front office plays a large in promoting the hotel’s specialties and services. Suggestive selling has the potential to generate a great deal of revenue for the various departments. Some guests may not even be aware that the hotel offers certain services. The front office staff could give restaurant menus, salon services pamphlets, or room service menus. When checking guest in to the hotel employees could ask “would you like to make an appointment for a facial in our full-service salon,’ or “would you like to make dinner reservations for one of our restaurants.” Even asking guest if they would like a bottle of wine or champagne sent to their room can be a great way to increase sales. Many guests will turn down the offer but there are also some that would happily receive the offer.…

The Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort is using several marketing techniques in order to bring attention and promote the Sweetgrass Spa. The company’s hotel guests, tribal community members, and the employees receive a 25% discount at the spa currently. This rate will be dropping within the next two months to 15% for the guests while the rate for the tribal members and employees will remain the same. They are doing this in order to build repeat customers which will keep revenue coming into the spa when times are slower for the business. They also have signage in their elevators promoting specials and the spa. This is used to get hotel guests into the spa. They are also using local busing companies to bring in large numbers of guests to the casino and the spa. The coordinator for the company gets a free massage if they bring in 25 rooms worth of guests. The sales staff also has referral cards that they give out that give guests 25% off treatments in the spa.…
