Creating cures for diseases, making better tasting wine and beer, and discovering many things, this is how Louis Pasteur spent his life. The life of Louis Pasteur had many events in his life. From the discovery of pasteurization to the death of his children, even through his struggles, Louis Pasteur still became a great man. Louis Pasteur changed the world for the betterment of mankind. Louis Pasteur was a very hard working kid. He was born on December 27, 1822, in Dole, France to his two loving parents, Joseph Pasteur and Jeanne Roqui. His father was a tanner, which is a person who turns animal skin into leather. His mother was a maid who worked in a garden. As a kid, Pasteur moved two times before the age of five. Pasteur had multiple siblings growing up, three sisters and one brother. Despite all of his greatest discoveries, he was an average student growing up who liked to draw and did not have good handwriting. Louis Pasteur began school in Arbois a French commune in the Jura department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in eastern France. Then he went to boarding school in paris. From there he went to the Ecole Normale Superieure a college that trains students to become in science. After that, he went to The Royal College of Besancon. Pasteur had many career accomplishments such as creating a vaccine for anthrax and rabies. He also created stereochemistry and pasteurization, which is why we have sanitary milk. Lastly, he created the Germ Theory of Fermentation. Pasteur married Marie Pasture on may 29, 1849. Together they had five kids, one boy, and four girls. Also, Pasteur won many awards such as the Copley Medal, the Albert Medal, the Leeuwenhoek Medal, and lastly the Montyon Prize. Louis Pasteur died from old age on September 28, 1895. He lived a full
