The police questioned Amy LaTour’s two boyfriends, her maid and a burglar who was in the facility that night. The evidence leads us to know that Amy was strangled by the maid.

The evidence supports this claim because there is a jewelry box on Amy’s dresser and the jewelry is still in the box. If the burglar would have killed her he would have most likely taken the jewelry from the dresser. As we can see in the photo the reflection of the mirror shows the door to the room is open. That means someone had come into the room since people go through doors to get into a room. Also, we know that Amy was sitting at her mirror since the chair is pulled out and if she had been sitting in front of the mirror she would have seen who came into the room. Since she was used to seeing her maid come into her room it didn’t faze her. We could tell that Amy was getting ready since her hair brush was in her hand and she had a scarf was around her neck. Normally when people are getting ready they will be fixing their hair and putting on their outfit.
