Major Exploration Persuasive Speech

Good Morning my fellow peers and educators: In this century, even before this century, many people have been risking theirs lives to explore and discover greater things. E. L. Doctorow once said, "Writing is an exploration. You start from nothing and learn as you go". We started of knowing nothing, but we progressed into something better. Some successful and some not, but look at what we have now and think, "If these risk takers did not do major explorations, will we know how to treat the sick, protect ourselves from dangerous animals, how to live a long life, or even what was before us?" With this being said, I do believe major explorations are worth the risk. Major explorations can improve our technology, medical techniques, and medical instruments. The speech entitled “Remarks at the Dedication of the Aerospace Medical Health Center," states, "Whatever new devices are created, for example, to monitor our astronauts, to measure their heart activity, their breathing, their brain waves, their eye motion, at great distances and under difficult conditions, will also represent a major advance in general medical instrumentation. Heart patients may even be able to wear a light monitor which will sound a warning
They say, "Hey, lets do the running man challenge to space!," but they run and don't come back? What was the point in taking that risks then when all they did was play around in space, hit a button or two and BAM! You crash. Although, when you say stuff like this, try to recall as many things as you can towards your history, the medicine we take, or the tea you drink. Would we truly understand our history or will we just live another disaster. Could we really find a route to India, China, Georgia, and etc. Could we all be ecstatic ad filled with energy? Think of these things, and evaluate where you would be without
