An entire week had passed since Isaac went to Malessica’s manor. Despite having a very busy week, he had fully recovered from his fights Ajax and Yuri. Becoming an Inheritor made his life seem much more busier. All he remembered from the last week were televised interviews back to back. It became physically and mentally exhausting, managing to get a few days of down time to relax. Today was the day that his training was finally beginning. Isaac was more nervous than excited, but he kept his emotions inside, waiting for Malessica and Sabra.
Isaac had been sitting on his front porch deep thinking about the things that he’d possibly learn. Remembering that his opponents usually moved faster than he could react, Reflexes and speed was the two things he wanted to focus on. His …show more content…
Manifestation was strong, but he still had places where it needed to improve. Looking down at his hands, he clenched his fist causing flames to envelop around his hand. Isaac’s mind remained wrapped around Pele’s prophecy. He wasn’t sure if he would be able to get strong enough to defend the world. Taking a deep breath, he tried to focus his mind on something else.
Looking up at the bright blue sky, Isaac smiled.
The weather felt perfect for training, stretching his arms out. The screen door opened as his mother stepped out to the front porch. She had a smile on her face, looking over to him.
“Isaac honey, are you excited for your training?” She asked.
“Yeah.” Isaac said. “I’m a little nervous though, it might not go well.”
“If you’re thinking like that, it’ll never go well.” She said, poking his forehead.
“You’re right mom. It’ll probably go well.” Isaac said.
“Of course I’m right.” His mother said. “You and Malessica better work hard if you want results.”
When his mother mentioned Malessica, He noticed that Malessica hadn’t arrived yet, he could only hope that he week went well and that she avoided the Sangrine Syndicate all week. Knowing how excited she was for the training, he could imagine her putting in her all. His mother sat there with him, waited for her to show up. Not remembering a single thing about Sabra, he could only imagine what she was like. Remembering she owned a flower shop, he imagined her to be a kind woman just like his mother. A white limousine with tinted windows, slowly pulled up in front of his
house.
“That’s got to be Malessica.” Isaac said.
