managing time
Managing time Managing time is a problem which all people face at one time or another. It’s a problem which starts when you are a student. If you don’t solve it, then it will be worse and worse. Even when you leave the university and get a job, the problem will follow you. We can say that managing time is one of the most basic resources in any organization, if you lose control of time, you will lose control of the organization. Time cannot be managed as it is beyond the power of any human being, we can only manage ourselves to get the best of the time we have. Time management, in fact, is self-management, it is interesting that the skills we need to manage others are the same we need to manage ourselves: the ability to plan, delegate, organize, direct and control. So, how we manage our time? Sometimes you will try to reduce the amount of work that people give you to do. Some people agree that you must decide what is important to do at the beginning, while others advice you to say no to work. But that’s very difficult when you are studying. Since everything is important. So, you should complete all assignments on time. Other times you will try to increase the time available. You could get an hour earlier, or go to bed later, or you could reduce the number of breaks during the day, but it’s not a good way to manage you time, since, rest and relaxation is just as important as work. To-do list is the most important useful tools of time management, but to do list often get longer and longer and become a waste of time; it can make us feel stressed. You can’t make everything at the same time, it’s impossible. So you have to prioritize and number the items on the list in order. Also there are two types of work that we act. Firstly, there is current work; these are the things that managers want you to do today. There is usually enough time in the working day to complete all the current work. But

Planning is one of the most important skills to have as a student. The importance of planning is to make a reasonable plan and stick to it. A plan will do no good if you make it and don’t utilize it. One of the biggest mistakes a student can make is that, while planning, the student will not account for unforeseen last minute work that needs to be done. That is where the student must identify the priority of work and make a decision. Making a study calendar or simply, writing your obligations down on a piece of paper can dramatically help a student remember assignments and due dates. Visually seeing a due date written down as a reminder will be a constant annoyance and motivate the student to stop putting it off and sit down and complete the obligation. Sometimes, when those unforeseen tasks come to light, it might be better to say “no” and make sure your obligation is taken care of first. Make time for your work, help others when you can.…
