1.3. Lists are a very good way of prioritising targets and showing timescales. I use the tasks option in Microsoft Outlook to keep track of what needs to done, and when the work is due. I can also set priorities and reminders to ensure important work gets done.…
This week I’ve read about many time-management strategies and the one that stuck out the most was having a planner on you at all times. After reading about this I went ahead and set up a schedule in my phone to follow and boy howdy it has been very convenient, it has helped me tremendously complete all my work on time.…
My plan of action is to submit assignments in a timely manner, excel as a student, gain new knowledge that I will utilize as a business owner, and earn a graduate degree in Business. To help achieve my goals, I manage my time wisely, by creating weekly schedules with blocked times that are designated for studying, posting to Discussion Boards, checking emails, and working on assignments. My schedules are created with Google Calendar, because I can synch it with my cell phone. This allows me to set notification reminders that help me focus and keep track of the time I set to accomplish goals.…
I would prefer to do the things I really enjoy rather than the things that are important. I sometimes use these things to make excuses for not the things that I should be doing. I tend to give more importance to these things at any given time of the day, it makes prioritizing these activities that much harder. I always believed doing the easy tasks first and getting them done then proceeding to complete the harder tasks last. My problem is I get easily distracted with my zappers. Having taking this GS 1145 class has shown me how to reconstruct and use my time wisely. By using a To Do List will help improve me with using my time wisely. This will motivate me to list my easy and hard things to do so I can complete in a timely manner. In contrast with the Self-Assessment, I consider myself to be more of a morning person, so getting started on these tasks soon after I wake every morning would ensure successful completion. Also limiting contact with others while working on these tasks would eliminate the temptation to enjoy my zappers. I also need to set aside certain days of the week to complete these tasks as well. Now that I have a plan, I plan to implement it a soon as possible in hopes that my school work gets done and still have time for my zappers.…
