everyone is different and method working for me might not work for someone else, so it is their own responsibility to select the best strategies that actually works for them in real life situation. Author says it’s never the wrong time to start taking steps towards a better you and working on your goal slowly and calmly is the best way to be gain a positive result.
After reading this article I became able to collect some methods to improve myself for a better outcome in coming days.
I agree to most of things she said in the article because most of them are either, backed up by an example or, presented from peoples who have the lot of knowledge and experience in human behavior related subjects. First habit that I am working to avoid is procrastination because it has the negative affect on my learning abilities as well as becoming a creative student. Working on last day with sweaty hand and heavy head does not bring me a good result most of times as I do not get enough time to be think as well as chance to collect peer feedback. Krakovsky suggestion of planning and making a suitable decision ahead of occasion will definitely help me to avoid
procrastination.
Second habit that I am working on to improve at is, my confidence level. Lack of confidence becomes the major factor that obstructs me from being a good student as well as a good soccer player. Krakovsky states by being internally motivated and by having strong willpower, it is possible to avoid this situation. Back then in high school, my coach always used to remind me that I am a skillful player but due to lack of belief in my ability I never became able to make it up to varsity level. I played on Junior varsity for a year with an opportunity to be at starting squad each game till the day I walked out field during a game and said coach that I could not handle the pressure anymore, from that day I played as a substitute player for whole remaining season. Lot of my friends use to work really hard just to get selected for starting lineup in other hand I was the one who blew off the opportunity because I just for some reason lacked the nerve to carry the responsibility. In school, I tend to stay quiet lot of times even when I know the answer because I do not feel confident, I feel like, I might mispronounce something or answer the question that is not correct nor relates to the answer teacher is looking for. This happens more than often in my Geology class and nowadays I am trying my best to avoid this issue as well as working on boosting my confidence level to become a better soccer player for my current club. I have not yet, solved this issue completely but I do see some positive changes in my confidence level nowadays in comparison, to earlier days and I know, change is going to take some time as Krakovsky has mentioned in the article.
