Her father was a Paris engraver and she was very intelligent. She was greatly influenced by the democratic ideas by Rousseau, and other philosophers as well, they greatly shaped her views. As she states, “Rousseau showed me the domestic happiness to which I had a right to aspire and the ineffable delights I was capable of tasting.” As seen, through Rousseau she underwent a lot of change.

I created this symbol for my character because it represents her very well. Madame Roland was a political figure who contributed greatly during the French Revolution. As seen in the symbol, there is blue, white, and red behind her shadow, which represents the location of the French Revolution, which was France. She held salons in which she would carefully hear all the ideas and instead of participating, she wrote down ideas. This is why the symbol shows her holding a pen because she wrote a lot and during her time in jail, she wrote a memoir of herself as well as a autobiography.

In addition to this, the slogan represents her very well because she conveyed a lot of messages through letters and through her husband, and this shows how it is not necessary to verbally convey messages.
