Marrybrown Restaurant is a Malaysia based fast food chain and a growing corporation.
Established in 1981, they now have over 350 outlets serving fried chicken, burgers, finger food, desserts and beverages. Due to the dynamic changes and preferences of consumers, Marrybrown has extended the menu that offers exotic local delights, which has Seafood, Rice Base Products, Noodles and Porridge. A famous local Malay rice dish, Nasi Lemak is introduced to the menu as Nasi Marrybrown. Marrybrown is the only local fast food restaurant that offers not just fast food items but also some local delights to ooze the taste buds of many. This is due to the persistence of the founders to present and serve everyone with the savoring local delights. Using Marrybrown's advantage, Halal, to dominate halal based countries, and preventing weak direct competition with some large fast food chain. In the 1980s Marrybrown became the first local fast food chain to franchise its business system in Malaysia. This was followed by many others who started to making it big in Malaysia franchise business.[
2.2 Findings and Implications Marrybrown can use its strength of rapid expanding on meeting theopportunity of tourism growth. It can expand more outlets globally to meet thedemand of consumers, more profits will be gained. Besides, Marrybrown can stillimprove its variety of food by adding product value or innovation.
