When his father passed, Martin Luther King Jr. took his place and he became a minister. At 18 he was ordained into his father's church. He was helping African Americans. He also fought for equal writes. A famous quote by Martin Luther King Jr. was “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation that they will not be judged by the color of their skin,but by the content of their character.”
Non Violent: Martin Luther King Jr. was non violent because his house was bombed. But his response to that was to not to fight violence but to fight with words. He was so against violence that he was the youngest person to win the NOBEL PEACE PRIZE. In 1965 Martin Luther King Jr. led a drive to register African American voters in Selma, Alabama. The drive met the violent resistance but they didn’t use violence.
