April 26th, 2016 Should the U.S. reduce its armed forces budget ?
Imagine living under the rule of a foreign power. Well that’s what millions of people deal with everyday who live in country without a suitable defence force. The United States should not reduce its military defence budget. A country’s fate is determined by the strength of its military. The money given is used to train soldiers also.

Today’s army is ran by its NCO’s ( Non-Commissioned Officers ). NCO’s are considered the “ backbone of the U.S. Army”, due to the fact they manage day to day operations. The modern military is mainly consisted of enlisted men and women. If the budget is lowered training standards might be lowered causing chaos within the chain of command. Also lowering the budget might lower morale within the branches of the military. It would lower morale by showing that the United States has no faith in its military. The Chinese have just recently lowered their budget causing the loss of valuable equipment. The People’s Liberation Army of China still use cavalry units and Cold War era aircraft. In short the Chinese military is very low-tech and if our budget is lowered it could jeopardise the security of our …show more content…
This budget is essential to the safety and protection of this great nation of ours. I have already stated the reasons for such and if lowered it could upset the balance of world power.
