My education endeavors have culminated in obtaining two Master’s degrees, with one in Business and Organizational Security Management (2003) and the other in Public Administration (2004). During my 23-year career in the USAF, I have accumulated a plethora of awards. At each level of Professional Military Training Schools, I scored in the top 10 percent of my class and accumulated honors as a Distinguished Graduate. During 2011, I guided a team of 65 individuals to the Training Detachment of the Year award, besting 51 training detachments from around the world. The culmination of my work experience, education, and leadership and management skills could be used to support the mission of the State Department at any location. While serving in the United State Air Force, I have had the honor of working with cultures abroad in Korea and in Japan. Eight years of my active duty career were completed on overseas assignments. One lesson I have learned is to empathize with other cultures and quell my ethnocentric thoughts. I gained the insight not to judge something because it is not the same as I am accustomed
