Military Recruitment and Students The military is essential for a country, but it takes people to fulfill the role and the needs of the military. Recruiters have been on a hunt for those who are able-bodied and this leads them straight to the young people. Many think of this as a problem because the children shouldn’t be limited to just the military, but some are looking forward to joining the military. Military based programs and recruiters do a good job of interesting people into joining the military. Marines have been searching for women in high school sports teams because of their athleticism. Although some think that military recruiters in the high school can be disruptive, and the Pentagon has been looking for ways around this to recruit more young people to the military. A recruiter's job is to enlist able-bodied people into the military. Recruitment centers are available to go to but you need to be able to reach out to people, so the way to do this is by getting out to people. High school students were the better choice as they are already able-bodied and of or near the required age and are also close to graduation. A recruiter can be disruptive during class periods, but that is the school's responsibility to take care of as they can determine where and when a recruiter can enter school grounds and talk to students about enlistment. Recruiters are nowhere near disruptive in school because they can be limited by school officials to only discuss matters of enlistment during lunchtime or after school, if no limits are held then nothing is keeping a recruiter from just doing their
